After retiring from HBC to Yellowknife, Seagrave decided to write down his tales of northern adventure. It was time to record what he witnessed as the fur trade collapsed, as electricity and television found their way into the remotest of communities, and as a revolution in transportation was occurring.
Seagrave still lives in Yellowknife with his wife Lisa and newborn daughter Anna and runs the Midnight Gallery of the Sun out of a defunct Hudson's Bay building. As he promised the Inuit, he continues to be a storyteller, in keeping with his Irish heritage. He now dreams of touching as many hearts as he can with his stories.
George Heller is the Hudson's Bay Company President.
