Terry is the Special Projects Librarian in the Calvin M. McClung Collection at the East Tennessee History Center in Knoxville. As a cat lover, she has devoted over 20 years to the rescuing, rehabilitating, and socializing of ferals which are her passion. When not at home writing, Terry spends her time curled up with the cats in her inside swing, rewatching classic films from the 1930s—1950s. Her first picture book, The Big Day has won many honors and awards. Red and Me is her second book with Star Bright Books.
